Hassan Mohseni Nameghi
Dr. Hassan Nameghi has a multidisciplinary engineering background with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, a Master's in Energy System Engineering, and a PhD in Environmental Engineering. He had six years of industry experience before joining HFC as the coordinator of the Pre-Engineering program in 2014. He currently teaches Introduction to Engineering, Statistics, and Dynamics at HFC. Over the few past years, he has launched several initiatives to promote student success and retention. These include creating an Engineering Technology program, developing a hands-on project-based curriculum for Technical Physics and Introduction to Engineering, initiating an engineering student club, organizing high school presentations and competitions, and promoting the PLTW pathway.
Ashfiqua Connie
Dr. Ashfiqua Connie is an instructor in Pre-Engineering department of Henry Ford College. She received her Ph. D degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McGill University, Canada in 2015. Her research interest includes nanotechnology, light-emitting diodes, LASERs, and multimedia communication. In her free time, she likes to travel, read books, and spend quality time with her family.
