Pre-Engineering: Electrical/Computer - Associate in Applied Science

Pre-Engineering: Electrical/Computer - Associate in Applied Science
The Pre-Engineering: Electrical/Computer program enables students to complete the courses in the first two and half years of the Bachelor of Science program in Electrical/Computer Engineering. The program is a pathway to the University of Michigan – Dearborn, Wayne State University, and Eastern Michigan University. Students take physics, math, chemistry, general education, and program-specific courses required by the electrical engineering programs at these 4-year schools. Upon successful completion of the program, students can transfer to complete their final years of electrical engineering. The HFC articulation agreements with the University of Michigan – Dearborn, Wayne State University, and Eastern Michigan University make the transfer process easier.
The “Pre-Engineering: General” program covers the courses in the first two years of an engineering degree (Bachelor of Science). Students take basic physics and math courses as well as general education courses required by most of engineering schools. Upon completion of program, successful students can transfer to a 4-year institution to complete their final two years of engineering. The articulation agreements with some schools in Michigan make the transfer of our graduates easier. We offer specialty Pre-Engineering programs for students who would like to take additional courses in mechanical, industrial, electrical, or computer engineering.

Upon successful completion of the program, students can transfer to complete their final years of mechanical engineering.
