48-Volt Electric Go Kart project
the Goal
Our overarching goal with this project is to study, design, and implement modern engineering concepts and techniques, and create a fully functional electric vehicle.
We also hope that by creating the vehicle, we can in turn open many doors for growth, and offer the engineering club students a chance to try something new.

Finished Plans | November 8th 2023
The final AutoCAD drawing has been made! However, by creating these drawings, we are now anticipating a whole new set of issues, all of which are primarily centered around the brake system, the rear axel mounts, and fitment. Unfortunately, it is looking like we’re going to need to change out our rear axel for a larger one, as well as the shocks we purchased for the rear suspension too…
First Batch | November 3th 2023
Some of the parts finally arrived!! We are now beginning to take measurements of these parts and fabricate the necessary mounts needed to secure them onto the frame. We’ve also begun to create AutoCAD drawings of the Vehicle, with the necessary dimensions to go along with it.
